Really Tired!

hello all,

Well, I safely landed in Berlin today around 130 and it has been quite an afternoon. The train ride wasn't bad, about 5 hours but the countryside was beautiful to look at. Umm, no problems with the trains stations or anything, but it was a hassle once i got to the city. I wasn't sure which way to leave the giant station in order to go the right way to get to a hostel, so i ended up carrying my extremely heavy backpack around town for half an hour, it was agony! thankfully, i was directed to the perfect place to stay for the weekend, some hostel in the middle of the city. Its very clean and not too expensive, so im happy with that.

So far, Berlin is a nice city. Im not too worried about my safety, and since im traveling alone im not planning on going out in the dark, so less problems there. However, maybe its just me, but Berlin isnt all its cracked up to be. I know its only been one day, and i will be here for a couple more days, but overall prague is a much better city. More sights to see, more things to do, better parks, but anyways. tomorrow im going to see the berlin wall and whatever else peaks my interest, but i feel i may enjoy going to other cities in germany a little more. it just feels like a big US city with a couple of older buildings; if you personally love berlin sorry i dont really feel the same way. but its a good starting point for my travels at least.

anyways, i dont know if ill get online while im still here in berlin, i may wait until the next stopping point to chime in.
